Teachers, here’s another classroom freebie worth checking out! 🦷🪥

Colgate offers FREE classroom oral-health kits and educational resources through its Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® program. The program is designed to help educators teach children about brushing, dental health, and healthy habits in a fun and age-appropriate way.

If you teach younger students, this is a great resource to check out—especially when planning lessons about health, hygiene, teeth, or community helpers.

🦷 What Is Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures?

Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® is an oral-health education program created to help children and families develop healthy dental habits.

The program has been around for more than 30 years and provides free oral-health education and resources for children, families, teachers, dental professionals, and communities. Colgate says the program has reached children and families around the world with free oral-health education.

One of my favorite parts of the program is the resources available specifically for teachers!

🎁 What Comes in the FREE Colgate Classroom Kit?

The exact materials you receive can depend on the classroom program and availability.

For the K–1 Bright Smiles, Bright Futures classroom kit, Colgate currently says the kit includes easy-to-use classroom materials along with Colgate toothpaste and toothbrush samples for 25 kindergarten or first-grade students.

Colgate also describes its teacher classroom kits as including dental games, Colgate samples, and educational materials designed to make learning about oral health more engaging.

That makes this more than just a free sample—it can become an entire classroom lesson!

👩‍🏫 Who Can Request a Colgate Classroom Kit?

Eligibility depends on the specific Colgate program.

The current K–1 classroom application states that the classroom kit is designed specifically for educators of kindergarten and first-grade classrooms. Applicants certify that they are a dental professional or an educator of children in grades K–1.

Colgate also provides resources for Head Start, Pre-K, Early Head Start, and other age groups, so educators working with younger children should explore the available Bright Smiles, Bright Futures materials as well.

📦 Important Shipping Information

If you're applying for the K–1 classroom kit, pay attention to the shipping requirements.

Colgate states that classroom kits must be shipped to a valid school address, and orders are shipped through UPS. UPS cannot deliver the kits to a P.O. Box.

Having your school's complete shipping information ready before starting the application can make the process easier.

📝 How to Request Your FREE Colgate Classroom Kit

Ready to check it out?

Visit Colgate's official Bright Smiles, Bright Futures classroom kit page:

Look over the current program information and follow the instructions to apply or request the appropriate kit for your classroom.

Because free programs can change, have limited quantities, or update their eligibility requirements, I recommend applying as soon as possible if your classroom qualifies.

📚 Don't Miss the FREE Printable Teaching Resources!

Even if you aren't eligible for a physical classroom kit, Colgate has another great freebie for teachers: downloadable oral-health educational materials.

The Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program offers resources such as teacher guides, posters, certificates, family materials, activities, and other tools that can help children learn healthy oral-care habits.

For example, Colgate offers a K–1 Teacher's Guide with oral-health lessons and classroom resources.

These materials can be useful for:

  • Dental Health Month

  • Health and hygiene lessons

  • Morning meeting activities

  • Classroom health units

  • Take-home family activities

  • Community helper lessons about dentists

  • Teaching children proper brushing habits

🪥 Why I Love Free Teacher Programs Like This

Teachers already spend so much of their own money making classrooms special. That's why I love sharing programs that can help educators get useful supplies and educational materials without adding another expense to their classroom budget.

A toothbrush may seem like a small item, but programs like this can also give teachers an opportunity to start conversations about healthy habits that children can continue at home.

Plus, kids usually love receiving something they can take home!

❤️ Share This Freebie With a Teacher!

Know a kindergarten, first-grade, preschool, or Head Start teacher? Send this post to them!

Even if a particular teacher doesn't qualify for the physical kit, they may be able to use Colgate's free downloadable Bright Smiles, Bright Futures resources.

Free classroom programs can sometimes change or end without much notice, so always check Colgate's website for the latest availability and eligibility requirements.

Happy freebie hunting—and here's to lots of bright, healthy smiles! 🦷✨
